Kerry Smith Interior Design

and the architecture of interiors

The aim is to consider the existing architecture in plan, form, style and period - to reshape interior spaces where prudent - to enhance with all the tools of interior design. Lighting, both natural and artificial is considered an integral element.

Colour and texture build on the structural envelope. Joinery which adds structural form as well as function is a focus. And finally, the history of the client and their relationship to these spaces will shape a solution.

WORK

Current projects by Kerry Smith Interior Design range from building works for residential interior alterations, refurbishments and interior fit outs, to upgrading furnishings, lighting and finishes.


Many projects have been undertaken in collaboration with architects and on many others flying solo. Building productive relationships with clients is always a major consideration and the best path to a successful project.
